THE 6 FACTORS OF FREEDOM
A practical framework for building strength, resilience and fulfilment in every area of life.
Most people focus on one area of life while neglecting the others. The 6 factors of freedom help you to build a stronger body, a stronger mind and a life of greater purpose, freedom and fulfilment.
After serving in elite military, entering into an award winning career in civilian street, achieving financial freedom as a young man, completing some of the hardest endurance events in the world, and coaching people for 2 decades into my 40s, I noticed success rarely comes from excelling in just one area of life.
The people who thrive and are truly happy tend to develop all six factors together.
Those who don’t, often create and feel pain.
They chase fitness whilst ignoring relationships.
They earn more money but feel no sense of purpose.
the result is often frustration, imbalance and a feeling that something is missing.
Real, true freedom comes from developing all the areas of life that matter.
This is why I created the 6 factors of freedom. Together they provide a practical framework for building a stronger, healthier and more fulfilling life.
why I created it
body
your body is the vehicle that carries you through life.
Without health, energy and physical capability, every other area becomes harder.
This factor focuses on :
Strength and fitness
Nutrition and recovery
Longevity and injury prevention
Building confidence through physical achievement.
mind
life will test your mind.
Challenges, setbacks and uncertainty are unavoidable.
The question is whether you have the mindset to handle them.
This factor focuses on:
Discipline over motivation.
Mental Resilience.
Self-belief and confidence.
Personal responsibility.
tribe
no one succeeds alone.
The people around you influence your standards, habits and beliefs more than you realise.
This factor focuses on:
Relationships.
Community and belonging.
Leadership and communication,
Surrounding yourself with the right people.
financial freedom
money ISN'T the goal. freedom is.
Financial security creates options, reduces stress and gives you a greater control over your future.
This factor focuses on:
Financial responsibility
Long-term planning.
Creating choices and opportunities.
Building a life with less financial pressure.
value to society
a meaningful life requires more than personal success.
We all need a reason to contribute.
This factor focuses on:
Purpose and fulfilment.
Service and contribution.
Personal growth.
Creating value for others.
distractions
many people know what they should do.
The problem is they allow distractions to steal their time, energy and focus.
This factor focuses on:
Eliminating unnecessary noise,
Reducing time-wasting habits.
Improving focus and productivity.
Aligning actions with priorities.
the goal
the goal ISN'T perfection.
The goal is progress across all 6 factors.
When these areas work together, you become stronger, healthier, happier, more resilient and more capable of building the life you want.
Thats what the Everyday Marine philosophy is all about.
